Goolwa Community Centre

Governance

The Goolwa Community Centre have a board of management elected by the members comprising a President, secretary, treasurer and three board members as well as a Patron. All board members are qualified and experienced in the community sector in the fields of social work, education, adult education, policy development, disability sector and child protection. The board of management are responsible for the strategic planning and compliance of the Centre, including review and renewal of all operating policies and procedures.

Our current Strategic Plan was developed by the board of management and informed by community,  participants and staff. It is founded on our vision for:

A thriving, connected and inclusive Community Centre for communities of the Southern Fleurieu

with the mission:

As a safe and welcoming community centre, we invest in opportunities that enrich the lives of our diverse community and enable people to engage, connect and grow.

The 4 Goals of our Strategic Plan are:
